The police in Edo State on Tuesday arraigned Johnson Atseleghe, the top of Ikaye neighborhood within the oil-rich Ologbo neighborhood and the Iyasere of Warri at an Edo Sate Excessive Court docket.
Mr Atseleghe, 54, was arraigned earlier than Justice Efe Ikponnwonba on a seven-count cost of assault and malicious destruction of property in Ologbo dukedom, Ikpoba-Okha Native Authorities Space in Edo.
Police prosecutor, Orobosa Okunbor, advised the court docket that the accused particular person dedicated the offence on the February 2 at Ologbo within the Benin judicial Division.

Mr Okunbor, a deputy superintendent of police, urged the court docket to not grant Mr Atseleghe bail, saying he was probably going to “create bother” if he’s launched.
